be trotting with British Airways was quite enough for Kate Saint. Having seen most of the world, Kate decided to settle back in her home town of Darlington in the North East of England.
Having always had a passion for special occasion clothes, and a certain style, it seemed a natural progression that she would do something in the field of special occasion outfits. Acquiring certain sources of supply, initially Kate Saint worked from home exhibiting her stock of special occasion outfits at fashion shows for local organisations. Kate Saint regards this as her apprenticeship as she had no formal training and after five years having built up her clientelle, Kate acquired premises in 1997 in the fashionable Grange Road area of Darlington.
